Christmas is coming, is your home pet safe?
With Christmas just around the corner, have you thought about how your home environment changes for your pets? You have extra food and drink around, a lot of which is not suitable for your pets. You have decorations and extra electrical cables which you pet may be fascinated by. You have gusts in the home who may not be used to pets or be unaware of the things that could do harm and you’re going to be distracted too so maybe not keeping a close an eye on your pet as usual. So its worth having a look around to see what you can do to keep your home pet safe, Here’s some suggestions: - Put nibbles into pretty jars, don’t put presents under the tree, make sure extra cables are tidied out of harm’s way, avoid low hanging and glass decorations, ask guests politely not to feed your pets titbits, buy your pet a suitable present to keep them entertained, make sure children keep small toys and batteries away from pets.
